FOR U.S. INDEPENDENT & REGIONAL USED-CAR DEALERS

Decide which public listings deserve attention next.

Paste a public dealership or inventory URL and start a free Lot Audit—no login required. It turns readable public listing signals and unknowns into a clearer next step: which units to verify first, which visible listing gaps or pricing, mileage, aging, description, photo, and specification cues to revisit, and which supported repeated patterns to investigate.

The product

Public listing signals, turned into practical next actions.

Built for U.S. independent and regional used-car dealers, Lot Signal reviews the public information available from a submitted listing or dealership site, unit by unit and, when supported by current evidence, across the bounded pages in view. It helps decide what deserves attention next.

UNIT BY UNIT

Review each public unit

The audit reviews each publicly represented inventory unit, VIN by VIN where a public page exposes one. It uses only readable public identifiers and listing evidence; not every listing will expose a VIN.

ACROSS THE LOT

Surface supported lot patterns

When current saved evidence supports it, the result may summarize sitewide patterns across the bounded pages captured in this audit. That is not a claim about complete inventory, historical trends, or an unconditional sitewide finding.

  • UNIT PRIORITY

Use unit-by-unit signals to decide which vehicles deserve verification first.

  • PRICING / MILEAGE / AGING

Revisit visible pricing, mileage, and aging cues where the public page supports a follow-up question.

  • LISTING GAPS

Revisit missing or thin descriptions, photos, and specifications that may need attention.

  • LOT PATTERNS

Note repeated public gaps or cues across the bounded pages when current evidence supports the pattern.

  • NEXT CHECKS

Turn supported signals and unknowns into practical investigation or follow-up questions.

The result helps a dealer decide which units to verify first, which public listing gaps or pricing, mileage, aging, description, photo, and specification cues to revisit, and which repeated lot-level patterns deserve investigation or a next check. These are prioritization and follow-up aids, not automated business decisions.

It uses readable public evidence only—not private dealership systems—and cannot establish vehicle condition, history, appraisal or market value, inventory completeness, or business outcomes. When information is unavailable, conflicting, or untestable, it remains an unknown or a follow-up question—not an invented conclusion.

What Used Lot Signal finds

Signals you can verify from the public record.

AGING SIGNALS

Observed inventory age

Public listing dates and age markers can show which units deserve a closer look, when the source exposes them.

LISTING QUALITY

Missing listing details

The review flags incomplete public descriptions, photos, pricing, or vehicle details that make follow-up harder.

EVIDENCE COVERAGE

What the source supports

Readable listing pages and source context stay connected to each observation, with coverage limits kept visible.

NEXT ACTIONS

Useful follow-up questions

Each signal points toward a practical next check, while unknowns remain questions instead of invented conclusions.

Sample lot review

A review that reads like a working list, not a score.

The example below uses fictional rows and counts to show the shape of the review. It represents no real dealership, customer, inventory, or result.

The Lot Audit promise

Decide which public listings deserve attention next.

Run a no-login Lot Audit on publicly visible inventory evidence. It reviews what a remote dealership or inventory page exposes and turns supported signals and unknowns into a prioritized list of units to verify, listing gaps to revisit, and follow-up questions to investigate.

Remote evidence can be incomplete, unavailable, or change. The audit does not access private dealer data or guarantee a business outcome.

WHAT WE CHECK

A public-evidence review, grouped for follow-up.

Used Lot Signal reviews public listing evidence unit by unit and looks for patterns across the bounded pages it can read. It may surface a lot-level review cue when current evidence supports the pattern; it does not imply complete inventory coverage or a historical trend.

The review uses public evidence only—not private dealership systems. Missing, unavailable, conflicting, or untestable information stays visible as unknown or a follow-up question.

  • VEHICLE IDENTITY

    • Stock and listing identity plus visible year, make, model, trim, and public specification or feature cues—and gaps.
    • Visible VIN or history-link signals when exposed; this is listing evidence, not VIN validation or decoding, title/history/service/warranty/ownership-record verification, physical-condition proof, or an in-person inspection. Missing or unreadable fields stay unknown and need separate verification.
  • PRICE AND MILEAGE

    • At the vehicle level, a readable public listing may expose an asking price and visible mileage or odometer reading; high mileage can add follow-up context. Missing or unreadable values remain unknown.
    • Across the bounded pages, the audit may summarize observed asking-price concentration and mileage coverage or context only when the captured unit-level evidence supports it. This is not a market comparison and does not determine whether a price is correct; it is not valuation, appraisal, condition evidence, or an unsupported conclusion.
  • LISTING PRESENTATION

    • Notes whether public listing pages expose observable photo links or counts. Image quality, freshness, complete coverage, and condition-relevant angles still need verification.
    • Notes visible description, feature/equipment, condition/class, service, warranty, maintenance, or buyer-objection wording. Presence is not proof of a record, condition, or objective copy quality.
    • Notes visible listing/detail, VIN/history, contact, and lead-path cues. It does not test whether a link or form works or verify the underlying record.
    • Shows whether public evidence includes YMMT, asking price, mileage, stock, and photo fields, and keeps missing or conflicting values visible. It is not a private-system or complete-inventory reconciliation.
  • LOT-LEVEL PATTERNS

    • Shows the pages and units actually captured and marks partial or capped collection. Unseen or inaccessible listings are not counted.
    • Can call out a field missing across multiple parsed listings in this capture when the evidence supports the pattern; this is not a historical trend.
    • Summarizes observed asking-price dollars at stake to prioritize review; it is not valuation, market comparison, or pricing advice.
    • Notes visible platform or syndication references for follow-up; it does not verify parity, freshness, or link function across destinations.
    • A listing seen in multiple saved snapshots can show time observed from its first reliable observation. A single public page cannot verify age; this is not an acquisition date, true days-on-lot value, or private dealer data.

How it works

Three steps from public URL to useful next question.

  1. 01

Submit a public dealership or inventory URL

Start the free Lot Audit with one readable public source. No login is required.

  2. 02

    Review readable public listing pages

Used Lot Signal performs a bounded, read-only review of the pages the submitted source makes available.

  3. 03

    Open the tokenized result

Review source-backed observations, unknowns, and follow-up actions when usable evidence exists.

What it knows / does not know

Useful boundaries are part of the product.

Used Lot Signal reviews a bounded set of readable public pages from the submitted dealership or inventory URL. Coverage may be incomplete, and the result is limited to what those pages expose.

It does not access private or internal records, perform an in-person inspection, establish a market value, produce an appraisal, or assign an individual-vehicle score.

It does not guarantee margin, days saved, sales, or any other business outcome. Missing or unavailable information stays visible as an unknown for follow-up.
